Laxman calls it a day

V.V.S. Laxman, who retired from international cricket on August 18, 2012, has played 134 Tests, scoring 8,781 runs with 17 centuries. He has also represented India in 86 ODIs, scoring 2,338 runs with 6 centuries. His 281 against Australia in the Kolkata Test in 2001, took Indian cricket to new heights. Compiled by N. Kesavan
