Pepsi, the global sponsor of the ICC World Twenty20, unveiled the trophy that will be presented to the winning team, at the Cross Roads 2 Mall here on Saturday.
‘Links of London’ has manufactured the trophy and it captures the constant movement of Twenty20 play. The trophy’s design is based on the field dynamics of the ball being hit to the boundary and fielders returning them in an interactive process.
The ICC World Twenty20 tournament will be played in Sri Lanka from Sept. 18 to Oct. 7.
