The Chennai leg of the TNCA-Coca Cola inter-school under-16 cricket tournament is set to kick off on Wednesday (July 25).

Sixty-six schools in the city will take part in the tournament which is to be played for the C. Ramaswamy Trophy, said P.N. Sankaran, Director (Operations), Procam International, here on Tuesday.

The tournament will be played on a knockout-cum-quarterfinal league basis. Apart from Chennai, the tournament will be held in six other districts — Kancheepuram, Thanjavur, Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli, Nilgiris, and Perambalur.

The winner from Tamil Nadu will feature in the inter-State challenge involving nine other States.
