Resuming the day on 171/4, Mumbai continued to make progress towards Tamil Nadu’s first innings total of 305 at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot on Tuesday.

At the end of 100 overs, the defending champions were 301/5, with Abhishek Nayar (52 off 124 balls) and captain Aditya Tare (76 off 164 balls) at the crease. They trail by 4 runs.
