Injured Daryl Tuffey to return home

An already injury-stricken New Zealand side suffered a further blow with the news that seamer Daryl Tuffey will fly back home.

Tuffey had suffered a bicep strain during the first match at Guwahati.

“Daryl developed some discomfort in his right bicep when playing but was able to manage it during the match,” said New Zealand coach Mark Greatbatch, in a media release issued by New Zealand Cricket.
