Indian bowlers showed tremendous perseverance on an unresponsive pitch to crush Bangladesh by 208 runs in the one—off Test and stretch the team’s unbeaten streak to 19 matches, here today.

Chasing a daunting target of 459, Bangladesh were all out for 250 in 100.3 overs but put up a stiffer resistance than what the final outcome of the match would suggest.

Ashwin struck the final nail in the coffin for Bangladesh by removing Taskin Ahmed for 1. Bangladesh all our for 250 and India thrashed Bangladesh by 208 runs.

37 overs to go for the day. India needs three wickets to win the Test. Virat Kohli is now rotating his bowlers to have a go at the Bangladesh tail.

Once again Ishant Sharma struck crucial blow by removing Mahmudullah for a well-made 64. Bangladesh now precariously placed at 230 for 7. India now inch towards victory.

Another first innings hero Mehedi Hasan Miraz into the middle. Can he and Mahmudullah repair the Bangladesh innings?

Indian bowlers are bowling with vigour now as they gain upper hand.

Right after lunch, Ishant Sharma struck another blow by removing Sabbir Rahman for 22 and Bangladesh fights hard to save this Test as they lost six wickets. Bangladesh 213 for 6. India needs four wickets in another 54 overs.

Post-lunch, Bangladesh batsmen Sabbir Rahman and Mahmudullah continue their fight to save the Test.

India removed Mushfiqur Rahim and Shakib Al Hasan before lunch that put Bangladesh on the back foot. But Mahmudullah and Sabbir Rahman batted positively and try to avert the possible defeat.

On the other hand, Indian bowlers led by Ashwin, Jadeja and Umesh Yadav has to up their ante to remove quickly the key man Mahmudullah. Bangladesh reached 202 for 5 at lunch on the final day.

Bangladesh has to play out the remaining 58 overs for a draw while India need only five wickets to win this Test.

After the dismissal of Mushifiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah and Sabbir Rahman joined together to revive Bangladesh innings. The key man for India is Mahmudullah. He is playing brilliantly to thwart India to slice through the Bangladesh innings.

Ashwin struck a crucial blow by removing the first innings centurion and captain Mushifiqur Rahim for 23. Bangladesh 162 for 5. India needs five wickets to win the one-off Test.

Umesh Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja are bowling in tandem. In particular, Umesh Yadav is bowling brilliantly without much success in this Test.

A lot depends on this pair of Mahmudullah and captain Mushfiqur Rahim. Rahim scored a brilliant hundred in the first innings. But the wicket turning slightly, these two batsmen have to dug in to save this one-off Test.

Ravindra Jadeja struck quickly on the last day of India’s Test match against Bangladesh by removing Shakib Al Hasan for 22. Bangladesh, which was at 108 for 4 at the end of 38 overs, needs to bat out 87 more overs to save the Test while India needs six wickets to win this Test.

Bangladesh started the day with Shakib Al Hasan and Mahmudullah at the crease with the team score at 103 for 3.
