Ethiopian Tadesse Tola approaches the finish line to win the 34th Paris Marathon.

Ethiopia’s Tadesse Tola and Atsede Bayisa have won the Paris Marathon.

Tola finished the men’s race in 2 hours, 6 minutes and 41 seconds while defending champion Bayisa dominated the women’s race in 2:22:04 on Sunday, breaking the race record of 2:23:05 set in 2002 by Marleen Renders of Belgium.
