Nikhil sets boys’ under-20 high jump record

Tamil Nadu’s C. Nikhil Chittarasu set a new National record in the boys’ under-20 high jump event on the concluding day of the National inter-zone athletics championships here on Thursday.

Tamil Nadu topped the medals tally with 16 gold, 23 silver and 16 bronze medals. Haryana (15 gold, 17 silver and 11 bronze) and West Bengal (14 gold, 12 silver and 17 bronze) took the second and third spots respectively.
