Vruksh steps into the second year

Vruksh, a school for special education and vocational training for mentally challenged, celebrated its first year anniversary on July 8 at Sanandaa Kalyanamandapam.

The school children showcased their talents in the form of dancing, singing, compeering. Besides, they had an excellent conversation with the crowd.

The idea behind the celebration was to showcase the improvements of these students in the past one year.

The head of the school, Shanti Ramesh, explained about the activities of the school.

The school also focuses on making these students learn basic life supporting skills and vocational skills such as packing dhal, making eco-friendly paper bags and also focuses on computer training.

The school teaches children to use calculators in mobile phones and other easy ways of learning things. The prayer sung by the students of Vruksh filled the hall with divine vibration. Vruksh is at Plot No.12, Third Street, Shanthinikethan Colony, Madambakam. Phone: 2228 0144 / 94444 87829.
