It is quite scary to know that the government has access to almost everything we do or have. This led to a growing interest in security from individuals and business professionals. Thus came Confide, the go– to Android app for sending secure messages. It can also send attachments with your messages. This app does not deliver a threaded experience like instant messages, but will help you confide in the people you trust quickly and easily.

Confide has been designed specially to prevent recipients from taking screenshots of your messages.

The setup process is absolutely painless. Once the setup is done, you can send secret messages with Confide. It is quite easy to compose a message. All you have to do is select one or more Confide users as recipients and start typing. You will also be able to send messages to the email addresses of those not using Confide. But, they will have to create an account to read them.

Confide shows you messages uniquely. The text of an unread message appears like a series of orange rectangles.

In order to read the message, you will have to drag your thumb down the screen and reveal the following lines of text.

The developers of this app have used end-to- end encryption that uses AES-128 bit encryption to secure the messages on the sender’s device and decrypt the same in the device of the receiver. As this service depends heavily on trust, you can send and receive messages only from people that you have added through their email or phone numbers.

This app is a smart and sleek way to send messages and is targeted at professionals who want a way of sharing information quietly.
