One for the ultimate fan

Igloo Innovations, a firm that’s into developing social media, web and mobile applications, has come out with an Android app packed with features for the World Cup. The app, ‘Football Ultimate’, is for mobile platforms and gives the latest info about the matches unfolding in Brazil, schedules, fixtures and the like. But that’s not all. It’s also an interactive quizzing app, featuring three types of games. The app generates random questions which includes easy, medium and hard levels. In ‘Guess by Player’, users have to identify players from the 32 World Cup Football squads. A correct guess leads to the next question. There are hints to help participants along. In ‘Guess by Country’ users have to identify the country on the basis of jersey colours or photos of the players themselves. Again, in ‘Guess by Club’ users have to identify the clubs that the footballers play for in various national leagues. To make it more interesting there are no hints in this level. Igloo is also running a predict and win contest on the app, where users can predict every game before its start and can win exciting prizes that range from iPhones to T-shirts. The app is available free on Google Play. The iOS and Windows versions will be available soon.
