OnePlus 2 launched at Rs. 22,999

The device will be available from August 11 on e-commerce firm Amazon through the invite-only model.

Chinese handset maker OnePlus launched its new flagship handset OnePlus 2 at a starting price of Rs. 22,999 on Tuesday. The device will be available from August 11 on e-commerce firm Amazon through invite-only model.

While the 16GB variant will have a 3GB RAM, the 64GB variant will sport a 4GB RAM. The phone is also expected to include a 2K quad-HD display, a type-C USB, a 13-megapixel rear camera with a 1.3 micron image sensor and a 3,300 mAH battery.

The 64GB variant will be priced at Rs. 24,999.

“India is an important market for us. Outside of China, it is already the third largest market for us, after the US and Europe... We expect to sell one million units of OnePlus One and Two by December,” OnePlus India general manager Vikas Agarwal told PTI.

OnePlus had launched its first device in December last year and has sold about 2,50,000 units till date.
