Apple has shared top ten reasons why apps get rejected on its App Store.
As per the data available for the 7-day period ending August 28, apps not having enough information and those that exhibit bugs accounted for quarter of rejections (at 14 per cent and 8 per cent) respectively.
“Before you develop your app, it’s important to become familiar with the technical, content, and design criteria that we use to review all apps. We’ve highlighted some of the most common issues that cause apps to get rejected to help you better prepare your apps before submitting them for review,” Apple said in a post on its new developer page.
Reasons like not in compliance with developer program license agreement and the app not being simple enough for users’ occupied 6 per cent each. Other reasons included apps not having lasting value and misleading users.
Apple said top 10 reasons account for 58 per cent of the rejections.
