Under the plans, a superspeciality hospital on the lines of AIIMS in Delhi will be set up at Kalyani in Nadia district and for which land has been located, the sources said.

A major hospital is planned in Darjeeling apart from 10 big hospitals in the state in next five years.

The health department has also plans to provide special health infrastructural facilities for people of tribal Jangalmahal region, sources said.
