At least 400 environmental activists of Greenpeace will hold a rally on Saturday to support Indonesian President Susilo Bmabang Yudhoyono on cutting carbon emission, a statement said here on Friday.

Greenpeace activists from major cities of Java Island like Surabaya of East Java, Semarang of Central Java and Bandung of West Java will also demand the president to put his words into practice and immediately halt deforestation in Indonesia.

The activists, the Climate Defenders Movement, will walk down the main Sudirman Street from the National Monument to the Hotel Indonesia Circle.

Each group will display their banner during the march.

Once at the Hotel Indonesia Circle there will be a theatrical show, illustrating the U.S. President Barack Obama and President Yudhoyono holding a globe with a banner behind reading ‘stop talking, start acting, save the forests for our future’
