India-based firm wins Microsoft Country Partner of Year Award

An India-based software products and technology services company is among the winners of the prestigious Microsoft Country Partner of the Year Award for 2015, a recognition that honours the technology giant’s partner achievements across the globe.

Comparex India Pvt. Ltd, headquartered in New Delhi, was honoured, along with 110 awardees in the category by Microsoft, at its Worldwide Partner Conference 2015.

Another India-based IT company Quadrasystems.net was the finalist in the Cloud Productivity Partner of the Year category, Microsoft announced.

“As our ‘Gold Cloud Partner’, Comparex is the trusted advisor for its customers and has a track record of a zero compete loss to date..,” Microsoft said.

Comparex demonstrated a Cloud-First vision and boasts of an 80 per cent year-on-year growth, driving a deployment of over 70 per cent of cloud seats, and adding over 300 customers across segments, it said.

“Their investments in transformational models like SPLA (Services Provider License Agreement) and new business models further demonstrates their belief and commitment towards Microsoft’s vision,” Microsoft said.

Microsoft received over 2,300 nominations from 108 different countries for the 43 different global award opportunities this year.

The annual awards celebrate top Microsoft partners that are demonstrating excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology.

The award winners and finalists were recognised at the Partner Conference, running here till July 16.

This year, Microsoft recognised partners in 43 categories that celebrate each of the core partner competencies, including cloud technology, public sector, citizenship, sales excellence and many more.

“The 2015 Partner of the Year ward winners and finalists, honour our top partners that demonstrate excellence in providing solutions and value to our mutual customers,” Microsoft’s corporate vice president for the Worldwide Partner Group, Phil Sorgen, said.
