A cool option for your house

When the city is flooded with so many products related to home, from the latest in security devices to kitchen needs, can the latest in the air-conditioning be far behind.

The real estate boom and the consequent demand for improved living style has resulted in the best and the most modern equipment in air-conditioning, which otherwise would have taken a decade, landing here at the earliest.

‘Sol Cool’ has come out with its latest armoury in ensuring conditioned air. The new system, made available for the first time in the country, offers cooling and heating arrangement that runs not only on conventional energy sources but can be operated on other options such as solar and wind energy too.

Consumption

Millennia, the 24 volt sustainable air-conditioning and heating system, is all DC and uses approximately 1,200 watts at hour. A wireless thermostat with on-board DC or grid charging capability apart, it comes with direct, ducted or split capability.

“Our products consume less power for operation and the same can be put at less than 50 per cent of what others demand,” says Clifford L. Sutton of Sol Cool’s Global Marketing and Sales.

It is not only environment friendly but is also positioned as an affordable alternative, he says.

Given the low energy consumption, the investment made on it is recovered quickly.

The company presently has launched two-tonne air-conditioners and shortly plans to make available 3.5 tonne and 5 tonne ones too. “They will be brought here shortly and we assure consumers a completely different experience in air-conditioning with our products,” he adds.
