A weekly column on what well-known personalities are reading and planning to read.

This week, it is Jay Panda and Srinath Raghavan.

T.M. Krishna

years Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions

I last read and enjoyed The Seasons of Trouble: Life Amid the Ruins of Sri Lanka’s Civil War by Rohini Mohan.

Next I plan to read History of Christianity in India (Vol. IV, Part 2, Tamil Nadu in the 19th & 20th Centuries ) by Hugald Grafe.

T.M. Krishna is a Carnatic singer

Jerry Pinto

One Thousand Days in a Refrigerator

I’m also simultaneously reading Don Paterson’s Reading Shakespeare’s Sonnets: A New Commentary . I read one or two sonnets a day along with the commentary. I also read some poetry before going to sleep.

I have something called a guilt file — books that have been gifted to me, or that I have but haven’t read. So next I plan to read something from that list.

Jerry Pinto is a poet and novelist.
