India must work closely with the Nawaz Shariff Government to try and solve the vexing problem of Jammu and Kashmir as well as the Sir Creek and the Siachen Glacier in a spirit of Give And Take, before he gets engrossed in local controversies now that the atmosphere is conducive on both sides.

If one takes Sharief's statements at face value then he is naive. He was addressing his American audience. Whether Sharief/Bhutto/Imran Khan all were addressing American/international audience. Besides Sharief will have to deal with biggest imponderable the Army and greater headache called ISI, besides dealing with frankenstein monster called islamic fundamentalism

The question is whether our life and living is dependant on a country
like Pakistan. It is indeed not, notwithstanding the fact that they
through their negative phobia(or our misguided individuals phobias)
can throw a spanner in our works in umpteen places. The answer is to
develop in myriad ways so that they are like a flea sitting on an
elephant and hope positively that if we behave decent they will see it
wise to behave equally decent.
