The report, “Light on more idols as a family loot unravels,” Nov. 11, read like a thriller. India is famous the world over for its rich culture, traditions and craftsmanship, a fact that caused it to be the target of attack before and during colonisation. It continues to be looted. All stolen idols, valued at a mind-boggling $20-million, and especially from Tamil Nadu temples, must be returned to India.
