The recent bomb blasts in Hyderabad and the possible involvement of the Indian Mujahideen yet again bring to the spotlight the Pakistan angle in terror acts in India. Pakistan was created because it wanted to be separated from India and its Hindu masses.
With this being the underlying ideological bearings of Pakistan as a state, it is no surprise that it is rabid in its hostility towards its eastern neighbour. The occasional bonhomie, borne rather out of Punjabi brotherhood, gets highlighted more specially among the Indian Punjabi liberal diaspora, and can hardly be a compensation for real ideological synchronicity.
Syed Mohammad,

I was saddened when Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde expressed “regret” over his “Hindu terror” remark. Even though he did it to ensure that the budget session of Parliament was smooth, it is sure to send wrong signals and embolden further the forces that were behind the Mecca Masjid blasts, the Ajmer shrine blast, the Samjhauta Express bombings, the post-Godhra violence against Muslims, and the Kandhamal violence against Christians.
It is time to accept the reality. Only when the truth is told, justice can be delivered. The Mecca Masjid blasts and others were carefully planned and executed like any other terror attack.
