TRS leader K. Chandrashekhar Rao still speaks the language of a firebrand leader (April 2). He must remember that every word of his has ramifications not only in Telangana but also in Andhra Pradesh, where people have reconciled themselves to the “painful separation” and wish for their Telangana brothers’ prosperity and development. His criticism should be based on facts and figures. His political differences with TPCC chief Ponnala Lakshmaiah especially over the issue of irrigation projects is an example of petty politicking. He is entitled to lay down a blueprint for the development of Telangana, but in his anxiety to win the hearts of the people, he should not stoke passions that could get out of hand.
