Stranger than fiction

The case of Bitti Mohanty — alleged to be a convicted rapist from Jaipur who jumped parole in 2006 and was arrested from a bank in Kerala where he allegedly worked under the false name of Raghav Rajan — reminds me of a Telugu novel. The plot revolves around a Pakistani spy who settles down in India for years, becomes the Prime Minister and tries to hand over Kashmir to Pakistan. The design is foiled by the CBI. I thought such things can never happen till I read about Mohanty.
