This refers to the article “Home came alive when TV conked out” (Open Page, June 5). Television viewing has become an integral feature of our daily lives. With a variety of satellite channels in the air, viewers have plenty of choice to satiate their entertainment needs. A powerful visual media, television should be utilised to disseminate socially relevant messages with a dose of humour.
