Reshuffle

October 26, 2012 12:56 am | Updated 12:56 am IST

A Cabinet reshuffle in UPA-II is long overdue (Oct. 25). With coalition partners having been muted, this is the time to go in for a revamp. Keeping in mind that 2014 is fast approaching, talent and integrity must be the criteria. The Congress should try to regain lost ground after the spate of scams.

C.R. Ananthanarayanan,

Bangalore

The Congress needs to do something that will appeal to the aam aadmi and improve its image. Sacking corrupt ministers is the first thing. Competent, dedicated and young leaders should be promoted regardless of their lesser parliamentary experience. The States headed for Assembly elections must get persons of integrity to lead.

Manohar Lal Yadav,

Jaipur

The Congress is proving to be a party of arrogant people. It must invest hard in cultivating a clean image as time is fast running out.

V.S. Ganeshan,

Bangalore
