Rejuvenated look

When I had a look at the new avatar of The Hindu , I was surprised. I had an old image of it and had to look at all pages to make sure I was reading the same newspaper. Its new font, colours, and extra-info on page one give it a rejuvenated look.

It is really refreshing to see the changes. The editorial page, particularly the stylish presentation of letters, is more lively and readable.

I am in Hyderabad on a short holiday and am enjoying reading The Hindu here. On Monday, I was in for a pleasant surprise. I called my sister in Tamil Nadu to ask if the Madurai edition too had the new look.

As an ardent fan-cum-reader of The Hindu since 1963, I applaud it for updating the newspaper to meet the demands of changing times.

The new design of The Hindu is very pleasing to the eyes. Variety is indeed the spice of life.

I am getting used to the change since I strongly believe that change is the only constant thing.
