Virat Kohli’s explanation that Parvez Rasool was not given a chance to play in any of the five games in the ODI series against Zimbabwe because he did not fit into the team’s bowling plans does not make sense. He says Jadeja could not be dropped to give a chance to Rasool. It was not Jadeja but Amit Mishra who got six wickets. Kohli has let down the country by not giving a chance to the first player from Kashmir.

The fact that all cricket players wear the same uniform shows they represent neither any religion nor region. Questioning the credentials of a winning captain itself is questionable.
