The April forecast brings cheer not only to the farming sector, but also to policymakers. Hopefully, the agricultural sector will get its needed boost and the problem of drinking water will be solved to some extent.

It is great news that the monsoon this year will be ‘above normal’, but has the government made preparations to save water? While this is a time to celebrate, it is important that the government look ahead and come up with a plan to save water for further drought seasons.
