Ambedkar had a major role in framing the Constitution. His depiction in the cartoon is unfortunate. Those who allowed it to be published in the Class XI textbook should not only be suspended but also booked under the Scheduled Castes and Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

A. Saran Kumar,

Nellore

It is enough for students to know that the Constitution was drafted at snail's pace. The reproduction of the cartoon by legendary cartoonist K. Shankar Pillai in the textbook was unfortunate, unnecessary and avoidable.
