Media role

This has reference to the report that some committed suicide and a few died of shock following YSR's death. It looks like the media had an effect on the minds of people and drove the weak to desperation. National leaders have died under tragic circumstances in the past too. But visual technology was not so effective then. I think it is time the media took a decision on how much coverage to give such tragedies.

The death of people by shock may testify to the media power but it is also a caution to the media not to exploit people's emotions. The visual media, in particular, must exercise restraint and not get carried away by their own rhetoric, causing heart attacks.
