Not many can define ‘happiness’ in the way that the writer has in his piece(“The many shades of happiness”, March 23). Today morning, I was listening to a song called ‘ Ye kisne geet chheda ’ by S.D. Burman and sung by Mukesh and Suman Kalyanpur. It gave me goosebumps. I replayed it many times because it struck a chord. Happiness resides in small moments like these. It is not permanent, but a momentary feeling. It’s only because happy moments end that people say ‘live every moment’. Ironically, while craving for more happiness, one forgets to live in the present.
