Honour or favouritism

It is a great honour for Sachin Tendulkar to have been awarded the Bharat Ratna. But, the seniority of sportsmen like Dhyan Chand and Milkha Singh has been elided. It is disappointing too that the Supreme Court did not put the ceremony on hold in view of the latest RTI revelation that the decision to award Tendulkar was taken in a matter of one day.
