Delhi stand-off

May 19, 2015 03:57 am | Updated November 16, 2021 05:04 pm IST

The unending and open spat between the Lt.Governor of Delhi and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal appears to another example of Mr. Kejriwal’s appetite for courting controversy and thereby vitiating the very process of governance (“ >Kejriwal ups ante against Lieutenant-Governor Jung ”, May 18). In his acts, he appears to be revealing his lack of knowledge of how a well-defined, hierarchy-based administrative machinery is to be run. His attitude appears to be one of intolerance and arrogance if not one of total disdain for the rule of law. His self-certification of his record of governance sounds too hollow to be convincing. Is he serious about governance?
