Congratulations

I congratulate the publishers of The Hindu on inaugurating the think tank, The Hindu Centre for Politics and Public Policy (Feb. 1). The nation is in need of such think tanks. It is now for the government to utilise the Centre’s valuable services by giving it a role in framing major policy decisions.

Prasanth Balantrapu,Vijayawada

The Hindu Centre for Politics and Public Policy will definitely be a game-changer. There was always the need for a connecting link in this disrupted democracy, which could convey the demands of an ordinary man to the governing bodies.

Narasimha Kulkarni,Surathkal

One hopes branches of the Centre will function in other cities too so that researchers can contribute to strengthen democracy. It has a vast area for operation and one fondly hopes it will have international audience and reputation.
