‘Cease terror’

July 26, 2016 12:16 am | Updated 12:16 am IST

It is understandable why Pakistan is restless as it knows that Jammu and Kashmir will never become a part of Pakistan (“Stop terror in J&K, Rajnath tells Pak.”, July 25). Therefore, it has been trying every method possible to try to achieve an impossible aim. After responsible leaders in Pakistan have indicated that Pakistan will persist in this move, one can make the conjecture that Islamabad is intent on fanning trouble in Kashmir. Even after Pakistan didn’t make much progress on this at a forum like the UN, it is shameful that it has still not learnt its lessons. It should also be made clear to our neighbour that any political solution to the Kashmir issue has to be within the framework of the Indian Constitution.
