Be gracious

Not long ago, the media spotlight was on how paramilitary companies from West Bengal and parts of North India were being drafted for election security in the Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Puducherry elections. Some were even flown down to the South. The elections are over but there doesn’t seem to be any news about the hard work they have put in. I was travelling recently and was shocked by the way the personnel were returning to their headquarters by train. I found more than 80 personnel crammed into a single sleeper coach apart from the huge amount of luggage and poor arrangements for water supply. They deserve better than this.
