N.S. Siddharthan's article on reforms (June 14) was refreshingly different and pragmatic. When everyone is arguing that FDI in service sectors is the panacea for all ills of the Indian economy, he has boldly highlighted the real issues and prescribed the correct solution. It is ironic that we do not see the simple facts but look for exotic solutions to problems.
