In Passing: Dream debut

He claims he is not “afraid”; not of competition or the reaction to his first film. For Luv Sinha, actor and son of Shatrughan Sinha, his first film has been considered a dream debut, since he co-stars with Hema Malini and Rekha. But junior Sinha has his head fixed firmly on his shoulders. “‘Saadiyan’ is just the start. “I can do better.”

Sinha said that he remains grounded because of his father. “He never took us to the sets and my mother never let us feel we were star kids. I have to make my own way and this is my journey.” And although his first film is a “family drama”, Sinha is clear that he wants to have a varied repertoire. “I don’t want to be typecast in one kind of role. I want to experiment.” And like his father, will he consider joining politics? “It’s too early to decide but if I ever do, I’d like to do it my way,” said Sinha diplomatically
