Who ever kills innoscent people need to be condemned . I too join the feelings of all tamil brothers who are the only community who strongly unite in name of thier mother tongue , really appreciate that . India Govt should take actions against those who killed indian fisherman . But I have one doubt can India directly intervene in internal issues regarding Srilankan tamils who are not indian citizens . Instead UNO should interefer the case to save those tamil citizens of srilanka from all suffering .

Hindu is portraying tamils as low profile people always. I am not only
supporting tamils.. If they are doing this to Tamils, tomorrow they will
do the same to people in east india and other border states.
Hindu should understand they are only the newspaper and they should
stop with publishing the news not pushing their ideology to others, that
too in a cunning way.
Where you people gone when more than 600 tamil fishermen were killed by sri lankan navy and more than 2 lakhs of tamil people were murdered in Mulai Theevu ?
But here they didn't do such things; they wanted just to oppose their arrival. Stop portraying us as rowdies.
Indian constitution has been seriously jeopardized now a days. Rest of the India is seeing Tamils as non-indians. Kerala, Andra & Karnataka states are not giving river water to Tamil nadu. Every states rejected neutrino plant. Finally it is going to be built in Tamilnadu.
More than 800 tamil nadu (indian) fishermen are KILLED by Srilankan navy.
It is a big shame to show those big war toys in independence day and republic day.
Indian army/navy cannot save fellow indian fishermen.
The Hindu should not release blind cartoons like these.
I request The Hindu to understand what is happening in the Srilanka. This news may portray that some srilankans got attacked by Indian Tamils, but what is the answer for killing lakhs of our gene tamilians and our INDIAN tamil fishermen attacked everyday.
This is not fair by a Media. I oppose this.

This cartoon is height of stupidity and trying to defame entire Tamil

I strongly oppose this cartoon. When tamilnadu fisherman attacked by
singhala army, there is no comments about that. When 63orphanage
children killed by singala army in sencholai the hindu bastards make
no noise, when the entire tamil people in the north are vanished by
banned weapons chemical and cluster bombs the hindu doesnt sounds it.
But it shouts LTTE is the reason for this genocide.
I would say the Hindu, and other indian media are also partnered in
the brutal genocide.
Media should be give the news genuinely. I never seen a genuine news
in the view of tamils livelihood.
The cartoon is ridiculous and overstated. The Hindu (TH) has always been a palpable support of Sri Lankan Government or stand on the other side for all issues related to Tamils. Probably the Brahmin society or the natives of Chennai disregard or do not understand what the real history of Tamils in Sri Lanka is + wonder why the rest of TN behaves unruly.
It is unfortunate that due to one rouge political organization who caused the mess, the image of the entire Tamil Community is undermined by a Tamil Run News Agency.
When TH is able to shout now/depict pictures, what were they doing or why did they not bring to light the slaughter videos /atrocities of the Sri lankan Army. Like someone said, how can one be fair and unfair when there are two or probably more versions of truth - currently overlooked.
Does TH know that all Tamils living in Srilanka are not Tamils from India?
We should learn non-violence from srilanka.
This cartoon gives an impression as if Tamil Nadu is ruled by goons and
war criminals, and that Lanka is ruled by a ruling class that is peace-
loving, gentle, kind, ruling class.

I wonder why do we feel so strongly about our kins and mostly about them only? When suffering, injustice and oppression is widespread. How can we be inhuman and human at the same time.

Team India does not play Cricket with Pakistan for past 3 yrs because Pakistan refused to take action against the Mumbai attack terroists. Whole India accepts this decision of Govt of India.
Same like that Sri Lanka Government killed few Lakhs of Tamil people and remaining are being tortured.

I've the same opinion about Srilanka harassing our fishermen. Where did your creativity go then?. Do you have the guts to put a similar cartoon for what Srilanka is doing to our fishermen?.

Seems Tamil people are always portrayed as idiots by Corporate media
power house. Just because some stupids politics done by so called experienced politicians , doesn't mean all whole TN is doing the same.
The sentiments of the Tamil people is poorly portrayed, they feel the
pain for suffering for fellow Tamils and they can hope for only justice.
The Cartoon is an excellent one. But I am not sure that it shall teach
lesson to the concerned persons playing politics. They are not prepared
to worry about the Eelam Tamils and their sufferings there.
