The penultimate sentence in the Business page report, “ >Microsoft offers Nokia fund help to pre-pay debt ” (Sept. 8, 2013), read: “The firm was renamed Nokia Systems and Networks.” It should have been Nokia Solutions and Networks.
Some errors had crept into the graphic that accompanied “ >Demographic dividend at its peak ” (Sept. 7, 2013). The bar graph corresponding to 25-64 age group: for 2011, it should have been 44.24 % not 9.20 %; corresponding to 65-100 age group: for 2011, it should have been 5.47 % ; not 5.476.
A note in the graphic on Op-Ed page, “ >All heated up ” (Sept. 5, 2013), read: “Energy left on Earth is called radioactive forcing.” It should have been radiative forcing.
