>>In the first paragraph of "OPCW is upholding Nobel's vision" (Oct. 12, 2013, International page), the full form of OPCW was given as the Organisation for the Prevention of Chemical Weapons. It should have been Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.

>>A sentence in “Stir in Tirupati makes a dent in TTDC revenue" (Oct. 11, 2013, some editions) read: “From April to July, TTDC ferried over 8,300 pilgrims that fetched over Rs.111 crore.” The amount should have been Rs.1.11 crore.

>>A sentence in "Lending weight to the question of mass" (Oct. 10, 2013, Op-Ed page) read: "There is a bit of tragedy here: while the Nobel Prize went to Mr. Francois and Mr. Englert, their achievements couldn’t have been validated ..." It should have been Mr. Higgs and Mr. Englert.
