>>The Business page article, “ >When expectations are high ... “ (March 2, 2015), said: “Besides, fiscal consolidation should be obtained in a transparent manner. In the event, the time-frame for achieving medium-term target of 3 per cent was pushed back by a year.” It should have been pushed back by two years (3.9 % for 2015-2016 3.5 % for 2016-2017 and 3.0 % for 2017-2018).

>>When Mother Teresa, the Editorial, “ >Needless provocation ” (Feb. 28, 2015) said, was awarded India’s highest civilian honour, the Bharat Ratna [in 1980], it was the only time someone of foreign origin had thus been honoured. Actually, it should have been the first time. Subsequently, in 1990, Nelson Mandela - a South African anti-apartheid revolutionary - was awarded the honour.

>>The report, “ >EC to connect voter cards with Aadhar ” (Feb. 28, 2015), wrongly gave the full form of EPIC as Electronic Privacy Information Centre. It should have been Electoral Photo Identity Card.

>>The Sports page headline, “ >Karnataka defeats Andhra ” (March 2, 2015), was wrong. It was Kerala which beat Andhra.
