>>The front-page report, “12 new Russian reactors, six at Kudankulam” (Dec. 12, 2014), said: “The locations for the remaining six [reactors] have not yet been determined.” However, the inside page report, “ >Vision statement on atomic energy cooperation unveiled ” (Dec. 12, 2014), said: “…10 of the reactors will be built near the existing Kudankulam … , while the Indian government is yet to notify the location for two others.”

The factual position is: 12 reactors, 6 including Kudankulam 1 and 2 to be at Kudankulam, and six at unidentified locations.

>>A sentence in “ >Akhilesh orders action ” (Dec. 12, 2014) read: “Mr. Ismail lodged the complaint under sections 153 A and 315 of the Indian Penal Code … .” It should have been sections 153 A and 415 of the Indian Penal Code.

>>In “ >J&K election to decide RS LoP ” (Dec. 12, 2014), the second paragraph should have read: “Mr. [Ghulam Nabi] Azad’s continuance in the job, therefore, will be decided by whether he can be re-elected to the RS.” Instead of this, a few sentences which were not connected with the report appeared in some early editions.

>>It is birth anniversary of Bharati. In a Friday Review page report, “Celebration Bharati” (Dec. 12, 2014, some editions), the opening sentence erroneously said: “The Bharati festival organised … got underway yesterday [December 11, 2014], which was the revolutionary poet’s death anniversary. ” A similar erroneous reference was made in “Talk, dance, song... BHARATI” (Margazhi Festival supplement, Dec. 9, 2014).
