** In the front-page report, "BJP blasts Antony 'goof-up'" (August 8, 2013), there was a reference to the Bangladesh Land Border Agreement. It should have been Bangladesh Land Boundary Agreement.
** A sentence in "Making India’s Durga Shaktis matter" (August 8, 2013, Op-Ed page) read: “U. Sagayam, IAS, who took on the might of M.K. Alagiri in his stronghold Madurai and exposed a Rs.16,000 loss to the exchequer...” It should have been Rs.16,000-crore loss.
** The second entry in the Corrections and Clarifications column (August 8, 2013) gave the heading of the report concerned incorrectly. The actual heading was "Jaisalmer SP shunted out."
** The opening sentence of “Why this hero worship of Nagpal, asks U.P. Health Minister” (August 7, 2013) referred to Durga Shakti Nagpal as Noida Sub-Divisional Magistrate. Actually, she was the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Sadar), Gautam Buddh Nagar district.
