>>Priyanka Vadra was erroneously described as Sonia Gandhi’s daughter-in-law in the report, “ >Uttar Pradesh set for fourth phase of polls; Rae Bareli, Lucknow at stake ” (April 29, 2014). The correspondent had correctly said it was Ms. Vadra who campaigned for her mother Sonia Gandhi in Rae Bareli.

>>The full form of TEU is twenty-foot equivalent units. The Business page report, “ >We are creating JNPT II ” (April 28, 2014) wrongly gave the full form of TEU as twenty equivalent units.

>>A sentence in “ >Bhagwati seeks to advise Modi ” (April 26, 2014) was wrongly edited to read: “[Jagdish] Bhagwati, known as the most famous living economist to win a Nobel prize, said, “I’d be glad to chair …”” It should have been never to win a Nobel prize.

>>A sentence in “ >Huge turnout in sixth phase of election ” (front page, April 25, 2014) read: “The highest turnout of 82.13 per cent was recorded in Puducherry followed by West Bengal (82 per cent for six seats) and Tamil Nadu (72.8 per cent for all the 39 seats). Assam – 77.05 per cent – should have come before Tamil Nadu.
