Volkswagen spoke through this newspaper on Tuesday morning. A talking newspaper was delivered to several homes on Tuesday and it spoke to introduce the Vento, Volkswagen's premium entry-level sedan in India.

Speaking about this innovation, Lutz Kothe, head, marketing and public relations, Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Group Sales India, said; “Our aim was to be able to emotionally connect to our customers with this product and what better way than being able to directly speak to them with the aid of a newspaper.”

Volkswagen had partnered with The Hindu for this communication initiative, which it described as the world's first talking newspaper.
