The Turkish Cabinet is holding its last meeting as part of a government reshuffle in the wake of the ruling party’s victory in parliamentary elections.
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is expected to tender his government’s resignation later Tuesday, paving the way for a new Cabinet that will seek to replace the military—era constitution.
Mr. Erdogan’s ruling party won a third term in office, taking 50 percent of the votes in Sunday’s polls.
He has pledged to introduce a more democratic constitution to replace the one that was ratified in 1982 under the military’s authority.
