Water reaches Tamil Nadu

July 07, 2017 07:51 pm | Updated 07:51 pm IST - DHARMAPURI

The water released from Krishnaraja Sagar, and Kabini reservoirs in Karnataka reached Biligudulu here on Friday morning and Hogenakkal by noon.

Karnataka had released 1,100 cusecs of water a week ago. It is likely to reach Mettur by night. Though farmers are not happy with the meagre amount of water, tourists are enjoying the rise in water at Hogenakkal.
