Unidentified gunmen kill two in J&K

Unidentified gunmen killed two persons, including a National Conference party worker, in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district, police said.

According to police, some unidentified gunmen kidnapped NC worker Mohammad Iqbal Dar at Awantipora town, 30 km from here, in the district last night, they said.

“Today morning his body with throat slit was recovered by police from Patwari Nad Kawni area,” they said.

In a separate incident at Kadipora area in the district yesterday, two masked gunmen entered into the house of Nazir Ahmad Chopan and shot him dead, police said.
