Two hideouts busted in Jammu and Kashmir

Two hideouts were busted by security forces in separate incidents in Rajouri and Doda districts of Jammu and Kashmir and recovered a cache of arms and ammunition from them, officials said.

On a tip off, Territorial Army busted the hideout during a search operation in Kalmat forest belt in Doda district and recovered a Chinese grenade, five rounds, three detonators among other things, they said.

In a separate incident, troops led by Rajouri Senior Superintendent of Police R. K. Jalla busted another hideout in Kapper forest belt of Kalakote tehsil in Rajouri district last night, they said.

The recoveries from the hideout included 2 AK magazines with 211 rounds, 2 packets of IED, 1 kg RDX, 60 rounds of Pika rifle, they said.
